Hello, my name is Kerrie Hipgrave and I am an experienced CBT and Person Centred Counsellor and a Behavioural Therapist based at Natural Health Therapy Rooms in Welwyn Garden City and at Countess Anne Primary School in Hatfield.

Whether it is anxiety, panic attacks, anger, depression, relationship issues or other issues, I can help to change confusion into clarity and find the happier you.

Counselling is not a ‘cure’. It is a safe, confidential setting where clients have autonomy to address personal issues at a comfortable pace with professional support.

My aim as your Counsellor is to give you the tools to become your own therapist. I also specialise in treating children who tic through Behaviour Therapy tics, which is a dynamic therapy proven to be as effective as medication.

Paula Cottle, PgDip MSc

Hello my name is Paula Cottle. I have 11 years’ experience working with clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds on a wide range of issues. In addition to my private practice I volunteer in a setting working exclusively with men.

People consider counselling for many reasons. You may have an immediate issue such as loss of a job, bereavement, or a serious health diagnosis.

You may be struggling with an ongoing issue such as relationship problems, addiction, bouts of depression or anxiety. You may have asked yourself “Who am I” and not known the answer, or you may have asked and not liked the answer. Your life may seem to lack meaning and you wish to find your purpose. Or you may be curious to discover more about yourself, to understand yourself better. Counselling can help.

I provide an environment based on acceptance, empathy and understanding to restore balance to your life. The aim of my approach is to facilitate a greater self-awareness, to better equip you to make sound decisions, find your own solutions and resolve issues.

I currently see clients on an individual face to face basis. I offer both short term solutions based therapy for immediate issues and longer term more intensive therapy. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I work within the BACP Ethical Framework.

I look forward to hearing from you.

“..I can’t express how grateful I am for the insight, support and care given to me, the difference I feel now is substantial and meaningful. Thank you Paula, thank you for the opportunity to benefit…”

“I found that counselling was a very positive experience for me and Paula was amazing, I could have told her anything, which I did. I cannot say enough prayers for her. Thank you.”
